A small and funny incident happened to me last week. It was one of the first few times I was trying to use a vending machine. I wanted to get Nesquick chocolate drink. I wanted to get two bottles. I inserted the dollar note and the coins and pressed the required code. I got one bottle. Then I repeated the same procedure. I neither got the bottle nor my money!!! Puzzled, I went back to my seat and called the reception and informed them about this issue. Immediately they asked me to come and collect the money. I was pleasantly surprised. They did not ask me even a single question. They just gave me back the money. Naanga chumma iruka maatom la. I went back and tried again. The same thing happened and I didn't get back the money. This time I didn't go back to my seat. I directly went to the reception and before I could say anything she gave back the money, but this time with a warning note that I shouldn't try again. Naa vera bayangara enthu party..Gajini parambarai aache. I went back to the same vending machine. But this time I had some people there to assist me. Together we noticed that when I had taken the first bottle it had knocked off the other bottles in the row to the opposite side. Hence it wouldn't come out. This time I gave a different access code referring to a different row containing the same chocolate drink and I got it!!!!!!!!!! Mattum indha dharava maatirndhudhu, I wouldn't have gotten back my money(rather it would have been difficult to get it back :-p).
