My second speech in toastmasters was about one of my passions, Bharatanatyam. I gave a brief introduction about the art form, demonstrated a few mudras and showed the navarasas. I also told the audience that my passion for the art form helped me give the first stage performance (Arangetram) within 4.5 yrs of learning the dance, on Aug 14th 1995. I ended by demonstrating the "bhava" or expressions for two lines of the song "My Heart will Go on" by Celine Dion. Being in the USA, I wanted the audience to relate to the contents of my speech and this conclusion gesture helped a lot in that as specified by my evaluator :)
