Adhuku etha maadhiri enga otti kaatanumo(ashok nagar), anga oru tharava practice panni paakalaam nu nenachen but adhukulla andha RTO official vandhutaaru. The drive had nothing but going on all four gears, a right u-turn and reverse gear.Irundha tension la 4th gear odaye u-turn eduka poyten..asinga asingama thittinaaru andha RTO aalu..u-turn eduthu stop panna solli erangi poma nu soltaaru..adhuku approm second time license ku pogum bothu it was a cakewalk coz it was just 4 gears and a left turn..the RTO official was also soft spoken so I was comfortable and finished the drive smoothly. Aaga mothathula ippo en kitta car kuduthu drive panna sonna andha car a marandhura vendiyadhu dhaan :-p..Nalla velai we don’t have a car. When I buy one, I will make sure I learn properly before taking it out even for short distances.

Aana, i used to love to watch ppl driving car, so when the instructor was teaching me to drive, i was very conscious abt my speed and changing gears. Namba lukku romba avasaram illa, fastta kathukanum nu, avanga solradhuku munnadiye, i will change gear..lol!! she will stare at me... anyways, me the no bother...

i was abt to go to holland for studies, suddenly i realised it wud be nice to hav a car driving licence, summa oru sceneku than, i have to finish it in 10 classess, nammaku startinge problem than...clutcha fasta vida vendiyathu, car oru jerkoda stop...the same thing happened many times, my instructor got fed up, after 10 classes, i decided to take a chance, luckily on dat day the RTO alu enna kooptu 'thambi oru u-turn eduthutu va nu sonaru' i was alone in d car started it and put on d first gear n saw d RTO turned his back, so, i decided to carry on...wen i came back..the RTO was long gone..i was lucky..after that its been 4 yrs, i never drove a car..nan enna panrathu.. enoda frens evanum namba matengran... nan eppo car vanrathu...eppo oru figuroda car idikrathu..eppo romance start agarathu..

Funny post !! I too remember my first experience. Not so bad..but it was really interesting..Naan licence vaanga pogum pothu..I applied for both 2 wheeler and 4 wheeler on the same day. Scooty la 8 poda..30 minutes practice pannen (though I've been driving it for 2 years). Kashtapattu licence vaanginen. Car-la S poda sonnaanga..one attempt-la perfect ta pannen..my coach felt surprised..not a single time I've managed to reverse properly before ;-). Then, I went to driving class for 10 more days to practice it properly. Ippo thevalaamnu nenaikaren..as Shuba said I think girls get tensed while driving.. avanga drive pannalum avalo than..yaaravathu drive pannalum appadi than.
