Once when I was in my friend’s house, I saw a pile of audio cassettes on the table. One was kept separate from the rest. I went near the table to look at that cassette which seemed to be the most often used one. I saw the title on the cover and I was surprised!!
Me: G, U listen to ‘Anjaneya’ songs that often?
G: Yaa of course, the songs are very nice and have been rendered very well
Me(even more surprised): What? You like these kind of songs? What a weird taste u have?
G: Why? What is wrong with my taste?
Me: Hearing such stupid songs and that too often.. I can’t believe that u have such a bad taste.
G: Everyone at home hears these songs and we all like it. Anyway why are u associating my taste with hearing these songs?
Me(all the more confused): Whaat? Ur parents also like these kind of songs? I seriously don’t believe this. How often do u hear these songs?
G: Every morning and evening my mom plays the cassette
Me: You sound as if it is ur daily “suprabaadham”
G: Since I have office I listen to it only during the weekends. Rest of the days my mom only hears it.
Me: There are so many other songs which are really good. What the hell do u find in those songs??
G: My mom only selected the cassette.
Me: Aaaahaaa!!! Is ur Mom Ajith’s fan? Even if she is one, she needn’t have selected this film, there are so many of his films which have really good songs. The songs in this film are nothing but crap.
G(Started to laugh real hard): Hey loosu, this is not a film cassette. It is a devotional song cassette!!!!!!!!!!!!
